Abstract:
The committee for investigating foreign environments is presenting this report to the CEO of Hugo International, on the potential of investing in the Netherlands. We would like to suggest that if we do invest, that we hire a local lawyer and advertising agency. Since we will toe? forming contractual agreements with suppliers and retailers, we will need to have a person with expertise of the Dutch legalities of such arrangements. In addition, when creating our promotional campaigns, it would be best to hire people who understand all the marketing aspects of the Netherlands, and its European neighbors. Prior to investing in another country, it is vital that an assessment be conducted on the various international business aspects of that nation. These would include the sociocultural, competitive, economic, and political environments. In order to fully understand the possibilities of going abroad, we have it broken down different areas. In addition, we also discuss the product we plan to manufacture, its distribution and where it will be sold. Furthermore, to fit into Dutch culture. the committee suggests that the foreign firm be called Van der Surf (VDS).
