520 3    |a Psychological well-being has been linked to higher levels of both physical and mental health. Evidence suggests that higher levels of religiosity and spirituality are related to higher levels of psychological well-being. The majority of the research on these constructs has been conducted on hearing individuals. As a result, very little is known about how levels of religiosity and spirituality are related to levels of psychological well being among culturally Deaf adults. This study analyzed the relationship between levels of religiosity, spirituality, and psychological well-being in the Deaf community. Deaf adults, ages 18 and up, who use American Sign Language (ASL) as their primary form of communication were given the Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale. A hierarchical linear regression was used to analyze the data.
