520 3    |a The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in adolescent intentions, knowledge, and self-efficacy with respect to organ donation, and how these categories relate to two sociodemographic: ethnicity and religion. A supplementary objective was to determine if there was a need for more systematic and culturally sensitive organ donation education directed toward adolescents. The quantitative study was conducted in November 2007 and utilized anonymous questionnaire data from 278 students enrolled in 10th grade biology. ANOVA analysis identified differences in ethnicity as related to adolescent organ donation intentions and self-efficacy, but not knowledge. When religion was compared to adolescent organ donation intention and knowledge, differences were identified, but not when compared with self-efficacy.
